PSIPs to Create "Super Plant" to Manufacture Structural Insulated Panels

Production space for making energy-efficient panels to expand within company’s flagship facility in Puyallup, Washington.

To enhance efficiences in the manufacturing of its energy-saving structural insulated panels (SIPs), Premier SIPs will expand the production space at its Puyallup, Washington, facility.  Co-located with its sister company, Insulfoam, Premier’s SIP super plant will serve customers throughout North America, as well as internationally. The larger footprint within the Insulfoam plant also will enable more cost-effective production of the new PREMIER PLATINUM SIPs, which offer 20% higher R-values than traditional SIPs

“Enlarging our flagship location further enables Premier to produce panels that are engineered for accuracy and simplified installation on construction job sites,” said James Hodgson, general manager for Premier SIPs.

Premier will continue to maintain a a presence in its Dixon, California, plant.
