Project Overview
Nature's Fix
Billings, MT
End Use:
Cannabis Dispensary
Why SIPs?:
Our prior experience aligned with my customers needs as He were already familiar wit the material and specifically requested a SIP construction.
Benefits of SIPs:
SIP provided significant advantages on this project by streamlining the construction process. They helped reduce build time, minimized labor and contributed to lower overall construction costs, Additionally their insulation properties are very energy efficent, making them an effective choice for this project.
Innovative Design Elements:
The project incorporated innovative design elements and structural engineering techniques to maximize efficiency and performance. These included precision-engineered SIPs that enhanced structural integrity while allowing for creative architectural features. The advanced design methodologies ensured optimal load distribution and alignment with modern building standards.
HERS/Blower Door:
To be completed in 2025
HVAC:
The project utilized a mini-split HVAC system, chosen for its energy efficiency, compact design, and flexibility. This system provided precise temperature control for individual zones, ensuring optimal comfort while minimizing energy consumption.
Energy-Saving Materials:
The building envelope included high-performance windows with a U-factor of 0.20 and additional high-R-value insulation, minimizing heat transfer and improving thermal performance.
Energy-Efficient Products or Design Features:
The project features energy-efficient modern fixtures, appliances, and a high-performance hot water system, designed to reduce energy consumption while maintaining functionality and comfort.
Sustainable Materials or Desgin Features:
The project incorporated sustainable materials, including low-VOC paint and stain, to improve indoor air quality and reduce environmental impact.
Client Comment:
"We are sure Nature's Fix is a first of it's kind SIP build for our industry. We are proud to say the air-tight environment makes for a cooler place in the summer and a warmer work environment in the winter. "
