Vine Maple Hope Center
End Use: As a temporary emergency shelter for single-parent families, the Vine Maple Family hope center works to help stop homelessness for low-income families on the verge of becoming homeless.
Why SIPS?: ENERGY EFFICIENCY! As a non-profit using donor funds and designing a building for the future is critical to the mission. The group didn't want to waste money during construction or in future operating costs.
Client Comments: "Vine Maple Place rescued 317 families (818 moms and kids) from homelessness in 2018 and expects to help over 1,000 homeless, or nearly homeless, moms and kids in 2019 and beyond. With proven methods to help avoid homelessness, Vine Maple is helping families successfully move toward stability and changing their lives. This new state-of-the-art facility enables us to grow and help many more in years to come."
