Project Overview

Premier SIPs were selected for the design of this university student housing complex (11 three story housing buildings) to provide an energy-efficient wall system that reduced air leakage and significantly lowered heating and cooling costs. The enhanced energy efficiency not only reduced operating expenses but also created a more comfortable living environment for the students.

The fast installation of Premier SIPs walls helped expedite the builder's construction schedule. The 182’ x 48’ three-story building was dried in within 12 days. Construction continued without delay throughout the harsh Montana winter. Following the successful construction of this initial structure, 10 other identical buildings were added to the student housing complex using SIPs.
