Project Overview
Heritage University
Heritage University consists of three higher educational facility buildings on campus which include a cafeteria, bookstore, and IT facility.
Why SIPs?:
SIPs were easy to install and easy to expand upon as the university grows (the plan is to develop for growth of a 48-acre campus). Premier SIPS sped up construction time (the project was completed in 10 months) which meant cost savings. Most importantly, it gave the opportunity to use sustainable, recycled content and rapidly renewable building materials.
Benefits of SIPS:
"Specific regional and renewable product requirements applied to this entire project. SIPs easily fell within the criteria and with manufacturing facilities within range, we were able to comply with additional requirements within the region."
Innovative Design Elements:
- Design concept to reflect the agricultural landscape of the rural setting
- Shallow, horizontally-oriented brick-clad structures
- Pitched metal roofs with clerestory windows to maximize natural daylight
